When I began preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam, I started with Stephane Maarek's course. It was an excellent primer that broke down the exam content clearly, helping me grasp the key concepts and foundational knowledge I needed.
As I explored deeper into the topics, I realized I needed to strengthen my understanding in some areas where I felt less confident. That's when I turned to Exampro's YouTube course. For example, the section on EC2 purchasing types was a bit tricky, so I watched videos from both Stephane Maarek and Exampro, blending their insights to craft detailed and structured notes.
Practice was essential for building my confidence. I chose two main platforms for practice exams: TutorialsDojo and Mozdora on Udemy. I set a goal to score above 85% on all tests. Initially, my scores hovered around 75% on TutorialsDojo, but instead of getting discouraged, I meticulously reviewed my incorrect answers to pinpoint where I could improve. My dedication paid off, and soon, I was regularly scoring around 85% on Mozdora's exams.
Additionally, I took on the AWS challenge, which included a free practice exam of 20 questions. I found it somewhat simpler than the actual exam and wouldn't recommend relying on it alone.
